Helping you to feel seen, heard, and ready to heal.
The name Banner Counseling & Wellness comes from Exodus 17:15: “The Lord is my banner.” God is our source of hope and is present with us in battle. We all need a covering that reminds we are not alone.

My counseling approach integrates a strong clinical foundation with a Christian worldview, honoring each client’s individual values and needs. I believe that the way we were created is deeply connected to the principles we find in psychology, and that caring for the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—leads to deeper healing. I value the power of relationships and story in shaping who we are and who we are becoming. Above all, I want my clients to feel seen, understood, and supported, so they can begin to let go of pain and move toward peace and growth.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Texas State University and a Master’s degree in Biblical Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary. Through my studies and experience, I came to see how psychology reflects the way we were created, and I am passionate about integrating clinical tools with a Christian perspective as it best serves each client.
I primarily work with adults (18+) and also provide couples counseling. My experience includes helping individuals navigate depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, divorce recovery, substance abuse recovery, disordered eating and relationship challenges. I am also certified by the Prevention and Relationship Enhancement Program (PREP).
At Banner Counseling & Wellness, I seek to create a safe and compassionate space where clients feel safe and heard. I believe healing is possible when people have a place to share their story, strengthen their connections, and develop coping for their healthiest life.
