Transformation begins with transparency.

I want you to feel comfortable with our process. Here are some questions I often receive so you’ll know what to expect.

What happens in a session?

You have full autonomy over your session. I’ll use my clinical skills to navigate the session and provide appropriate feedback, but you’ll never be forced to talk about anything that you’re not ready to address. I hope to hear more about your story, struggles, and counseling goals. I use a combination of talk therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, identifying coping strategies, interpersonal neurobiology, and mindfulness.

What do you mean by Christian Counseling?

As a Christian, I am always working from a Christian world-view. With that being said, I will never force any beliefs on you. I strive to be sensitive the journey that you are on. I understand that many people have spiritual trauma in their story. I hope create a space to meet you in the capacity that you feel safe.

What is the cost? Do you take insurance?

The private-pay rates are $120 for individual sessions and $130 for couples/family counseling.

I am networked with BCBS, Aetna, Cigna, Carelon, & Quest. Please reach out to your insurance carrier to determine your mental health coverage.

How long do sessions last?

Sessions typically last 50-55 minutes.

How many sessions will I need?

Everyone’s needs are different. I encourage clients to plan for 4-6 sessions, then we can reassess your goals and needs.
